It’s not, but that’s not what the OP was about. He was trying to use the removal as historical precedent for the federal government acting with savagery against a people they had previously entered into peaceful agreements and treaties with, only to abandon them to suit their own needs. Not unlike what we’re seeing now with the government’s lust for power and willingness to ignore previously understood societal norms between government and the people.

For at least 6,000 years the way the world worked was whichever biggest baddest group of people wanted a piece of land bad enough got that piece of land and everyone more or less accepted this paradigm

In the last 80 years or so a group of people have decided that’s not how the world works anymore and some of the last people who operated under that system were monsters

I pray to God those people are never proven wrong bc if things go to shite they are going to learn real fast the world still works the way it always has
