Well, not that I want to defend this POS, and I really have no sympathy for him getting the sentence, but really, one would think that there are ways to keep folks like this from driving in the future.

He doesn't look like he's sitting on a bunch of spare cash.

Can't we just take his cars and ban him from even being able to register another one?

Yeah, I suppose someone could let him borrow their car, but, I can't imagine there are people beating his door down that are willing to loan him their car.

I guy like that... The state would be better off confining him to house arrest and having a half gallon of gin delivered to him daily. He can get piss drunk daily, finish off his liver and stay off the streets. Would either get sober or die in a year or two.

In prison, he may last another 10 years draining the state of tax dollars.
