Muscle cars lack good style. All of them and by a lot.

It's one thing to prefer ghey looking European cars. That's fine. Even I can appreciate European cars.

But to just declare (as though your opinion was somehow fact or even means anything of import) cars like a 69 Fastback, GTO, or Roadrunner lack "good style" only serves to make you look (1) ignorant, (2) like a douche bag, and (3) like you're trying too hard to look "sophisticated". Nobody is impressed with your preference in cars.

It's 100% this:

Porsche's are beautiful cars, but hardly the most beautiful ever. I know it's an entirely subjective topic, but I think most car enthusiasts would agree that a 964 is not even in the top 10 most beautiful cars ever built.

That's a 72. Depending on what all they've done to that car, it could go for over $50,000. And that's for a car that's over 40 years old.

Some Muscle cars can and do sell for as much or more than the 964s. In fact this car went to auction for half a million....

I am a porschephile and like the 993 alot but it's not in the conversation of most beautiful cars ever . I'll add the 981s (cayman) is the best looking current porche.

For me, I'll submit the Talbot-Lago.

Did you just seriously use the term "tacky" when addressing another dude? Holy shite.

Let's see

1. Hates American Muscle Cars
2. Thinks people are impressed he likes Porches.
3. Uses the term "tacky" in casual conversation.

Yep....

I'm calling your macho persona campy. It's shite style no matter how you slice it, but funny in a cliche 'you think this is cool, right' way.

Macho? Liking classic Muscle cars is "macho"? That's what you think? Good lord, you're like the Lord of the Douchebag Hipsters.

Look, Hipster boy. Let me spell it out to you again and see if it sinks in.

1. It's alright to like both American and European cars. I like Porches and think Jaguar makes some of the most beautiful cars ever made. The 69 Mustang is my favorite car though. Doesn't mean I can't appreciate other cars though.

2. There is no "right or wrong" preference in cars. Some like this type, some like another type. Most people like a mix of different cars. It's a personal preference thing.

3. Liking Porches doesn't make you anything. Stop thinking it does because you look like an arse doing it.

Classic German style is cool in my opinion...I started a thread, that's what we do here.

As I've said, I like German cars as well.

Never been a fan of 964's. If I made a list of my top 50 most aesthetically pleasing vehicles, they wouldnt be on it.
