TBoy, since you know so much about Keystone XL, how about you explain how it does or doesn’t have an affect on local Gas prices.
XL has never pumped a drop of oil to refineries. Meanwhile Keystone has been pumping oil since 2010, and continues to pump oil. XL doesn’t exist and has no effect on current oil supplies from the tar sands of Alberta and no effect on current gas prices.
The alleged “cancelled leases” are nothing but a suspension of an offshore lease sale. Offshore oil production is not expanding with oil prices as low as they are. Even if the lease sale would happen today it would be years before any new offshore lease goes into production, if ever. That has no effect on current oil supplies or gas prices.
But by all means, continue to lie to each other. It apparently makes right wingers feel good to lie to each other. Just don’t expect anyone with sense to go along.

You think it's bad now, wait until hyperinflation takes hold.
Statistically, it takes 2 years for an economy to fully be effected, but the signs are showing that with all the money we've printed the past year (and more upcoming), it'll happen.
The S&P500 booming while the dollar depreciates is a sign of it. Normally it's stabilized or backwards. Also, the 1% currently shortstocking property is also a good sign of it.
Better get that prius prime boys because it's not gonna look good. If the consumer price index takes a huge hike, then we're really in trouble.

Do you even know what hyperinflation is?
You think the US dollar is going to experience hyperinflation?

It should be real fun next time I fill up the RV :). It will certainly be a multiple card fill up. Haven’t had one of those in a while either.

There has been a noticeable increase, since January, in vessels around Fourchon getting loaded with casing, drill pipe, and cement. Signs that drilling is happening.

Spin-off from the high used truck values thread: gas prices so far are having no affect on gas guzzler prices. Will be interesting to see what happens if they get to $4+.
I will continue to fill my tank and consider it the cost of not being the smallest target on the road. $15/week isn’t going to starve my family and it certain,y isn’t going to make me drive something I hate.

Not even a thing.
Interest rates remain at the lowest in history. And will. Inflation was last seen in the 80's. If you're told anything else, you're a mark.

Yea turmoil in the middle east has nothing to do with it. If you didn't know a couple refineries have been blown to smithereens
