Are you disagreeing with the fact that pit-bulls are responsible for more fatalities that all other breeds?

sorry, but that's bullshite. This one breed accounts for the vast majority of fatal dog attacks. And yes, any dog can attack. The difference though is when a pug bites your kid, you need some peroxide and a band-aid. When a pit bites your kid if you're lucky you need a surgeon and if not you need to make funeral arrangements.

Kill every single one of them. Go into people's homes, drag their trash dogs into the street and put a bullet in their heads. All of them.

No. Pit bulls (and Rottweilers) are more capable of being killer dogs because of their breeding over time (temperament, body type, etc.). People who can't raise them properly should own other breeds. I'll agree with you there.

The fact you took time to first make and then post that says you're a sad, obsessed little loser. Unless you've got something resembling an intelligent thought to add to the topic of conversation here, go play with your tinker toys.

I hate it when I see someone post this.

It's ridiculous.

You are not making a point.

You are actually arguing against the breed because other breeds don't become murderous if not raised in a certain way. You are actually admitting that pits have to be raised a certain way to not be dangerous which inherently makes them dangerous as a whole.

No, it isn't.

And you think this is a good argument? This reflects a severe lack of thought or knowledge about the subject.

If a pit attacks you or anyone you are accompanied with, you should be allowed to kill the dog and the owner if the owner is on site.

Indeed, as my post above reflects. I don't believe that all people should be able to own animals in the first place, and that the owners are ultimately accountable for the actions of the animal they chose to own. If you can't raise an animal properly, you shouldn't own one. Pretty simple shite.

I think you have to look at the people who own pits. After Katrina, pits were stolen from the Ag Center, not any other breed. People who use dogs for no good raise them to be mean. I know someone who rescues them and they are great dogs. it isn't a breed thing so much as a people thing. Rottweilers, German Shepherds, etc. will and can kill but aren't the cool dog to own to be a tough guy. They are bred to fight. Sad situation really for all.

I grew up with a Choc Lab.

In the mean time I had two Basset Hounds.

Now I have two miniature dauschunds that I love damn near as much as my kids.

All awesome dogs that brought/bring all of the things to my life that you want in owning a dog.

All harmless, loyal and friendly.

Why own a damn pit? I have a pretty good idea why people want pits and for most people, it has nothing to do with wanting a great dog.

Well, now we've come to a crossroads. We can buy a pit out of the paper or CL.com before dinner is served tonight.

The vast majority of the people that are buying pits are buying them because they are vicious dogs that are built to kill. Like or not, this subset of our population usually has a LOT of kids that aren't raised worth a shite.

So, now we have a recipe for a bit of a problem.

Now what?
