So you have no issues with protesters blocking you from getting home from work on a public road?
As long as the protest is related to that area of land, no I don’t have any issue with it

And when emergency vehicles are blocked as well? Because that has happened.

Oh okay. So you know what I believe better that I do?

Police can obviously monitor and enforce allowing emergency vehicles through. Is this really all you have left to argue?

Nah.
Why are protester's rights to protest more important than my right to use a public highway?

Ah yes, if I'm in an ambulance with a major medical emergency when seconds count, I'm totally cool with having to wait until the police show up to force the protesters to let my ambulance through.
Do you even consider the stupid shite you type?

Why do you only care about the first amendment when conservatives are affected?

Answer the question.

This is from the ACLU, in relation to when and where protests are applicable.
The main issue is the obtaining of a permit.

There are restrictions, as noted by the ACLU.
The main issue is the obtaining of a permit.
quote:
If organizers have not obtained a permit, where can a march take place? If marchers stay on the sidewalks and obey traffic and pedestrian signals, their activity is constitutionally protected even without a permit. Marchers may be required to allow enough space on the sidewalk for normal pedestrian traffic and may not maliciously obstruct or detain passers-by.

quote:Again, you don’t have the right to obstruct traffic merely because it is a publicly funded “street”.
You don’t need a permit to march in the streets or on sidewalks, as long as marchers don’t obstruct car or pedestrian traffic. If you don’t have a permit, police officers can ask you to move to the side of a street or sidewalk to let others pass or for safety reasons.
There are restrictions, as noted by the ACLU.

I mean it's just common sense.
"your rights end where mine begin"
You have a right to protest. You do not have a right to protest in such a way as you impede my right to utilize a public highway.

Oh okay, so because there may be an emergency vehicle coming brought at some point, then we must outlaw all protests on public streets even though those areas are part of the public forum doctrine?
Do you even consider the stupid shite you type?

If they are impeding traffic, yes.
You do not have a right to block me from utilizing a public street.
Why is this so hard for you to grasp?

And like I’ve pointed out, It’s different in the protest in question is related to the land itself. Those are general protesting guidelines. Yeah if I want to protest F King Alexander in the middle of Highland Road that’s not going to fly.
