Maybe the problem was the entire flight was over enemy territory where it would be difficult to stage a tanker. If the only place you can tank is the beginning or end of the mission, it makes tanking fairly irrelevant?

No, it’s is history. They’ve been fighting for their right to exist since quite literally day one, and from their own neighbors.

Israel has been at war multiple multiple times with Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and fought proxy wars with Saudi Arabia, Iran, Algeria, Kuwait, and others from their birth as a nation in the 40’s to present. ALL who desire Israel to be exterminated. They want the Jews gone and that land to belong to Islam only. That is their stated intention, and that is their mission. They want peace, but only at the tip of their sword.

What you’re saying is based on the past victimhood and mirrors all the stuff BLM and CRT says.

It is really stupid to imply that Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and even Lebanon are enemies. They are not. That’s like saying Alabama is the enemy of black people.

Our relationship with Israel is a one-sided relationship.

The "unfinished nuclear reactor" is comparable to "WMDs" according to this article.

I know people feel very passionately about this conflict, so I'm sure supporters of "military aid" ( ~10.5 million per day) to Israel were totally outraged that Emily Wilder was cancelled for tweets...

Look at the map and suggest a refueling site.

Violating airspace with fighters is one thing. Refueling in restricted airspace is quite another.

Ok, I understand now.

Yes, aerial refueling was well developed before Operation Opera, and I have found reference to IDF using aerial refueling in Operation Wooden Leg against the PLO in Tunis in 1985.

We gave them F16s. Not refueling planes
