If we're talking about value, yes. Hell, paying 35K for a new car is retarded if we're talking about value. But since the whole point of the thread is what kinda fun car he can get for 35K, I think a used car makes plenty of sense. In fact, I can't think of one situation where a new car makes sense.

Might be able to find a sweet muscle car that has been modernized. Say a 1969 Boss Mustang...
