I have heard people of BR that fear NOLA, but mainly or the same (and legitimate) reasons they fear North BR.

Have never heard someone in BR say they hate NOLA.

I'll disagree with this. Baton Rouge has excellent cajun food when compared with almost anywhere else in the entire country. Sure NO has a lot more Cajun restaurants that are legit, but BTR has some very good ones

The old saying is that people from Baton Rouge hate New Orleans. People from New Orleans don't even know Baton Rouge exists.

Best burgers in BR: tramontes, akasha, state capital, georges, Does (when they have ground meat), louie's, jasmines...

Come to think of it, there are quite a few good burger places in BR.

As for good cajuj food. Where? Because I havent found it.
