I hope the suspect can’t keep his mouth shut and gets busted by bragging about it on social media

Weird shite has been happening all year here. Crime is up like 40% and murders close to the same clip. Pretty similar to most urban areas in the US.
There was a shooting inside a vehicle a couple weeks ago. 12 year old driving a stolen truck was shot by a 16 year old in the back seat on I-24 right by downtown. You read that right. How the frick does a 12 year old know how to drive on the interstate?
Davidson county passed a 38% property tax increase in one swoop, haven't raised them since 2008. It's one of the worst managed city's in the entire US and that is saying a lot. The boom here has been completely squandered, a few have gotten rich and everyone in general has suffered with really nothing to show for it from a city improvement standpoint.
Increase is just going to further gentrify the city, kicking tax paying fixed income citizens out of their houses, make it even more less affordable while still keeping white guilt "affordable" government housing right in the middle of 500k median neighborhoods. We're effectively paying to have ourselves robbed.
I live in East Nashville, just bought in May. Guy died in my front yard on closing day while I was signing the contract, shite you not. It's going great.

Should have stopped signing right there.

The one last year where the random dude broke into apartment randomly and stabbed her was even worse. Poor girl was 23.
Super scary, totally random. Also a St. Thomas nurse.

I had no idea. I'm nearly positive the title lawyer was taking the call before walking in to sign the papers. I was sitting in there for a solid 20 minutes wondering what was taking so long. Not sure of the the legality for them to tell me.
Found out from my neighbor who called an ambulance instead of the police.
The guy was pronounced dead in the ambulance/hospital as opposed to on my property.
Neighbor did me a huge solid on that one, he knew the implications. Haven't had any issues since then, my street is pretty tucked away from the action here in East Nashville but the Ring app gets wild. There's gunshots, car break ins, helicopters and general frickery every. single. night. Insane considering what I, others pay to live here.

I stayed at an AirBnB in East Nashville for the LSU/Vandy game last year, it seemed alright.
It was in the Five Points area, walking distance to Tailgate East.

What implications would there have been for you?

Pretty sure if someone dies on your property it has to be divulged for a certain amount of time on any future transaction.

What happened though? Like he was shot and bled out on your property or had a heart attack jogging on your property?

I'm 2-3 minutes from there.
There are some great spots, there's also some pretty bad ones tucked away right in the middle.
I think its just a function of the lose lose state we're in with police patrols.

Not really sure, he apparently was walking down the road, started to have issues and tried his best to stumble up my front steps to my door.
Came to open the house after close and there was a beanie sitting on my stoop that said "King".
Bizarre. Had to be drugs or heart attack.

Bump. Looks like the perp resembles what we all thought he would.

Link to WSMV news article about them finding the guy. A "concerned citizen" came forward with details after a $65k reward was announced. Hmmm...
I can't begin to imagine what her parents are going through, but I have to think it's all that much harder knowing it was just random chance without any reason behind why their daughter was the one that was picked.

Suspect charged in Caitlyn Kaufman murder has lengthy criminal history
Quite the rap sheet.
quote:
News 2 did some digging and found Hill has an alarming criminal history.
A juvenile record shows Hill convicted on three counts of attempted criminal homicide in 2016 when he was just 16. According to police, Hill’s grandma and mother were trying to wake him up for school when he started firing a handgun. He struck his grandma, 12-year-old sister, and six-year-old nephew.
Hill was taken by DCS and returned home in 2017. Two months later, he was arrested for aggravated robbery near his home and returned to DCS until his 19th birthday. In 2018, he was arrested for drug possession.
Just this year, he was charged with assault with bodily injury in January, driving on a suspended license in August, and now criminal homicide.
Quite the rap sheet.
