Cornwallis sent his 2nd in charge to surrender to Washington because he was too chicken shite.
As a slap in Cornwallis’ face, George sent his 2nd in charge to accept Cornwallis’ sword as terms of surrender.
The sword is in he Smithsonian’s American History Museum. Saw it last week.
