I don’t care for any new rap but when I hear his song it blows my mind that he even has a career.
rap died in the mid 90's.
it's run from 87-90ish could not be sustainable, it went from pussy and partying, to gangsta livin, to thug life, to super crap music.
pop music killed it along with alternative, country, etc.
For christs sake, alternative has taken on bluegrass music, and really shitty, slow pop music as it's brand.

But he is rich. That means he is a job creator.
Which means it would have been pretty easy to get the goddamn visa renewed.

How long until he's embraced as the face of the immigrant 'dreamers' cause? Young immigrant child overcomes adversity, gets second chance after youthful indiscretions, makes good, becomes job creator/musical visionary turned community activist. Articles are already highlighting his school start fundraisers and financial literacy outreach while glossing over his gang affiliation and criminal involvement. Imagine how successful he would be if he had the college opportunities today's 'dreamers' have. It even plays perfectly into the talking point that most illegals are actually visa overstays not border jumpers.

21 Savage was the voice actor for Peppa Pig.

I read that as: "21 savages were arrested in Atlanta"

Called it. Numerous articles are now labeling him a DREAMer. Conveniently no mention of his gang affiliations or details about his expunged criminal record. NPR

What I don't get is why he's not being released on bond. If he's a legit flight risk wouldn't that just mean he self deported. It's not like he just going to go into hiding and disappear. Maybe based off his violentcriminal past as documented in his own lyrics they're concerned he is a threat to the community. Either way, if he's actually being kept in isolation 23 hrs a day with no TV etc as his lawyer claims hat seems extreme for a visa overstays as a child. If it's mismanaged, his case is going to highlight the DACA cause.
