Featured in the video, Tadge Juechter just retired a couple weeks ago. Tony Roma, no stranger to GM engineering from the Cadillac side will be taking over the leadership position.

Check out those gen z kids with their cutoff jeans and tube socks. The new Yenko Camaro is going to have something around 1500 hp which is wild. The vette is nice but I’d still prefer this.

I want to hate the rear wing so bad but I just cant.

The new Yenko Camaro

I believe that is a remake of the Chevelle SS. Still pretty cool though.

Real car people drive naturally aspirated z3/4s, Miatas, or BRZ/FRSs. And they sure as shite don’t drive them regularly. Anyone else is either getting left behind or they’re LARPimg.

Yeah that’s not the Camaro it’s a restomod 66 Chevelle and a pantera I was just comparing the hp to the corvette I didn’t post a pic of it because most people know what a Camaro looks like.

A lot of tranny issues with the 500hp version C8. Can't imagine the issues with a 1K HP variant.

For example: A 1988 mustang 5.0l, 5speed with a grabby clutch, 3.73 gears, and decent tires would scare the shite out of someone that’s only used to a modern nanny controlled car with 3-4x the hp.

The late model Challengers catch hell on here, but I have a 2018 Scat Pack with the shaker hood (non-wide body). At a naturally aspirated 485 HP in sport mode, it is the closest thing to a non-"nanny" older model muscle car you can get. And at 4300 lbs with the weight distribution and aerodynamics and cornering ability of an acme brick does you no favors. I couldn't imagine it with a manual and tricky clutch.

By the way, I drove that era mustang you referenced back around the time it was released when I had a lot less sense and it and the Challenger are the only two street legal cars I have been in that literally scare me. As in they want to put you in the ditch as opposed to trying to keep you out of one.

You’re going to have to travel because really if you don’t have a Miata, there is almost zero competition anywhere for street cars. Even zs and frs/brz are only well-receipted at Miata events or only in big cities. Nothing else really exists outside of old dudes LARPing or lame Porsche sponsored events.

Even after I bought my ‘23 C8, I still missed my Sebring Orange ‘19 C7 Grand Sport. I’ve just never seen one in person that I liked better. Big mistake getting rid of that one. Last month I traded in my C8 for a Bronco Everglades. No regrets yet. C8 was awesome but I’m chasing snakes too often now for the Vette to be useful.

‘19 C7

My buddy was selling his Z06 and I was super tempted buy it, but I needed to sell my 69 first. He had a buyer (who I knew in the area) waiting and I had to pass. That was an awesome car.
I agree, the '19s were special.

The newer vettes driver/center console set up looks awesome, akin to a cockpit.

Unless you are flat through Eau Rouge or ticking past 320 kph on the Mulsanne Straight or something similar as well as getting paid to do it you are LARPing.

Curious about these. Don’t they only come with the 4 cylinder unlike the other broncos? Maybe down the line as you really put it through some shite and put miles on it, you could do an OB thread on it

Yep, 2.3L Ecoboost with 300 hp. Only model that comes with a snorkel & winch. It’s pretty cool. Overkill for what I really use it for, but I couldn’t resist the Everglades model since I’m about to make my 4th trip to the Everglades since March. I put 8k miles on it in the first 6 weeks already after my West Texas trip.
