I think they'd take nearly everyone back s long as they hadn't completely burned that bridge. Ambrose would likely be brought in for a Shield 3-way but I highly doubt they'd put a title in him. Sasha is done. Burnt that bridge and frankly has ruined herself in AEW. I don't see them taking on older guys like MVP & Co either. I think Swerve is one guy who has improved himself most in AEW and would be welcomed back with open arms.
I don’t care for Ambrose or Banks. I never saw the appeal for them. I think MVP is never going back considering he kinda claimed HHH to be racist (if I am mistaken please correct me). I think Darby is to small for WWE plus his style isn’t built for longevity. I think WWE would take Britt in a heartbeat.
I would like to see Omega in WWE just to give Cornette something else to complain about besides Trump. It’s getting harder and harder to listen to Corny because he has to bring Trump into everything.

I'm in my late 40s and watching Jacob gives me flashbacks of Umaga, Sika, and Afa. The Tongas are similar to the Islanders.

Team Challenge Series, anyone?

Strange how most on the Reddit wrestling board are all whiney about Trump every post as well. Been banned on there for years

I can't get into reddit. I tried but I just can't seem to. I have no problem with who Jim Cornette voted for or supports but it is tiring to hear him circle everything back to Trump or the Republicans. Yes Jim the NWA title would have meant more in 1985 if Trump hadn't won in 2016.

Saw online apparently drew was actually legitimately pissed about his elimination. Apparently Priest went off script

Thought it had to do with LA Knight or Logan getting in the way/stealing the moment. Him getting eliminated after all his shite talking kinda sucked.

That might’ve been it. I don’t think him being eliminated the way he was was supposed to happen though. I just assumed it was because of priest

Kinda feels like drew is always complaining and whining about not being the guy

From what I've read, the popular educated guess is that he was mad at LA Knight for doing so much right where the hard cam would be shooting. I've seen a few clips of his elimination and it looks like Knight was in the way of him getting one of those big spot/run eliminations. If he's mad at Priest as well I would guess he tried to call off the elimination but Priest sent him out anyway. Maybe he was supposed to get some time in the ring after the Roman/Seth/Punk elimination and by going earlier his elimination wasn't given the "star treatment". I just don't see where anything was worth him going off backstage. Hopefully HHH deals with it like Vince would have.
Catching up on the topic... I don't understand why there's such a negative response to Jey winning. People scream about the predictably of the women's winner (understandably) but then those same people whine when there's a swerve in the men's match. They needed an opponent for Gunther and if Brock wasn't going to be back the Rumble winner wasn't as important. So why not swerve the fans while rewarding a guy who is massively over? The EC is going to be fire with Cena, Seth, Punk, Drew (if he's not punished), and Roman in it.
As for AEW... Completely agree that Britt would be brought in and likely have either the IC or US title within months. MJF is an interesting guy to consider. We know he can work with Cody but how well would he fit with the other top guys? (Perhaps this is why he decided to resign with Tony). Swerve & Nana have a much better chance of being signed than Bobby & MVP. Omega and the Bucks would likely need to bury whatever issues between them and Cody that pushed him out in AEW. It's fun to think about but most of the guys who could make it in WWE will be on the backside of their careers by the time this WBD deal is finished.

They say it's not a work, but it feels like a work.

He's not that much smaller than someone like Finn or others. I absolutely believe he'd be their next Jeff Hardy if he went to WWE.

Definitely a work

They play around with that too much now. I know it's hard to blur the lines, but one day something is going to really happen, and they won't be able to convince anyone that it's real.
