Hey, I'm with you. The floor sucks IMO but people love it and it's a harder ticket to come by then the plaza\loge. I have sat there before and it's enjoyable. We sit in the Bunker. Best of both worlds IMO
As far as entertainment... It was supposed to be announced by October 15th yet crickets... Not a good sign

Still pisses me off that they take the best part of the Thoth route away now.
And it still doesn't even make much to me why that part of the route has been axed.
If there are enough police to cover Tucks/Iris (Uptown), Nomtoc (Algiers), Endymion (Mid-City), and French Quarter on Saturday, why are there not enough police on Sunday to cover the additional 2.5 or so miles of Thoth's route in arguably the safest area of any parade route in the city?

Fox 8 - Krewes can Return to Normal Routes
quote:
Mayor LaToya Cantrell announced Friday (Jan. 6) morning that Mardi Gras Krewes can return to their original parade routes if they are adequately secured. In an effort to help those Krewe meet the security needs to be at full strength, she also announced that the city is willing to invite and pay for outside law enforcement agencies to help the boots-on-the-ground effort to keep paradegoers safe.
