It's a good thing they aren't screwing up a product that's critical to the company's survival.

Oh wait.

You can brag about how woke the company is that manufactured it.

I have a 2017 F150. I've never had a single issue with it. It had a few recalls that took all of 2 hrs to fix.

Wow, the Mythbusters tested a myth like this where the detached driveshaft hit a pot hole and launched the car. Ford is a mess right now. They better hope the Bronco has a flawless launch.

Very few people know what a drive shaft loop is, unless they have run fast enough at the track. They actually work very well. Don’t ask me how I know this..

Even if it doesn't do the pole vault a loose shaft can destroy and come through the floor pan.

Not fun times.

Since Ford "canceled" their sedans to focus on trucks, they've launched 2 new trucks. The new Explorer and the F-150. Both went like the Bay of Pigs, although they did improve a lot with the F-150 launch over the Explorer.

Bronco looks like a well executed design, but I suspect it will be a lot closer to the Land Rover Defender than the Jeep Wrangler from a defect and durability standpoint. At least for the first few years.

Yup. And there is a 99% chance when the driveshaft let’s go, the tail housing on the trans is going to be done too.

And then you've got trans fluid on the back tires...

shite ends up expensive.

Nothing, and I repeat, NOTHING, will come close to the shittiest QA and reliability in the automobile world: Landrover/range rover.

Only Fiat comes close.

I can't believe someone is using this argument to defend Ford. How many of you buy new F-150s every 3-4 years?

That's as much your dealer's fault for misdiagnosing it as Ford for not building it properly.

My take was the mechanic wasn't going to let some maroon of the street tell him what was wrong with the truck. I feel like he swapped out the rear end in an attempt to only prove me wrong.
