2020 F150 Ecoboost Electrical Problem

While driving, warning for “no drive mode available” followed by warnings on brake system, assist systems, coolant temp, etc. Lost all engine power.
Was able to turn off and restart several times to get to towable spot. Won’t turn over at all now.
Any similar experiences? 12k miles.

Wheel speed sensor(s).
Good luck finding parts. All the new Ford’s need them and there is a shortage.

Sounds like a computer issue more than an engine issue. Good luck baw.

I would not rule out something as simple as a bad battery or ground cable. A while back I parked at a hotel for the night with my Ford Explorer. The next morning I went to start it and and you would have thought it was possessed…the radio stsrted blaring, and all of the windows started going up and down. I called a towtruck and they ultimately found the battery was bad. I replaced the battery and have never had another problem with it.

My 2016 randomly started throwing a bunch of weird lights and shite like that. I put a new battery in it and it took care of the problem.

Should have bought a Toyota.

Buy a blue driver obdII module off Amazon and pull codes. Or you can get one of the dummies at AutoZone et Al to pull them. It's a start.

FORD is synonymous with
Big
fricking
Piece of
shite.
Take the F and put it at the beginning. Take the B, turn it into an O. Take the P and turn it into an R. Take the S and turn it into a D. Now is that a coincidence? I think not.
Seriously though man, that sucks. Time for a dealership trip + warranty claim. If the dealer doesn’t treat you right, call Ford corporate. I’m not aware of any major electrical issues with the new F150s - all complaints have been turbo issues or lifter failure with the new cylinder deactivation systems.

I agree. It sounds like a bad battery, connector somewhere or a bad ground. These computers run on battery voltage and glitches there can make them go crazy.
Has any work been done on the vehicle?

Do you happen to have the blind spot proximity sensor in your taillights? I know someone who got water in his taillight and all kinds of shite started happening.

Going in the morning. A little Googlesearch showed some similar stories, wide range of culprits.

It has a leveling kit. That’s it.

No clue. I did pull the taillights in March to install LED bulbs, ended up leaving stock. Possible I compromised a seal somewhere I guess.
Hoping for a dud battery.

Good. Don’t let them deny you a warranty claim because the vehicle is modified. The magnusson moss act requires the company denying the warranty claim to show that the owner/user modification caused the issue giving rise to the claim.
