Sorry you live your life in a box.

Not my fault, that’s yours.

I’ll be trash in your eyes. You don’t matter much to worry about it.

There are people who pass out flyers in my neighborhood. It's usually flyers advertising sales at a local grocery store. During local election years, there are candidates who go around knocking on doors and/or passing out their flyers, etc.

If someone had two pitbulls that got out and attacked them, the last thing I would think is "well they didn't belong".

And even if someone didn't belong, I think they at least deserve a warning shot (dogs barking), because, even if they don't belong, you don't really know their intentions.

Plenty of IFS.

I’m just looking for the facts to make an accurate judgment.

I’ll support the dogs being put down and apologize for not being sensitive to the man.

Dude, do you sit outside with a gun on Halloween? According to you, if kids come to your house to get candy, if you open the front door and your pitbull attacks them, that is perfectly okay.

Now why would you assume that?

First, I don’t own a gun.

Secondly, I have purposely focused on whether the man entered a yard. I’ve asked if it was enclosed or not.

I have continued to look for the facts. IF, as you’ve used so often recently, he entered a property, especially an enclosed yard, without consent and IF he was attacked by protective dogs of that property, I don’t feel bad.

What’s so confusing about that? All IFs, just like your IFs.

You are one of those people huh? If you see someone walking down the sidewalk and there is something on the sidewalk, in front of your house, if they walk around it and happen to step on your grass.. You are that guy who will be outside making a huge deal out of it..

Why is this whole concept difficult for you to understand?

Give a frick who’s walking around my open front yard.
I have two pitbulls who lay on the front yard and play with the kids.
I also work in New Orleans. Basically live there, 24 hours at a time.
I see plenty people who don’t belong and could not care less.
This is about the thread and lack of informations supporting anyone’s opinion, including mine.
We all have an opinion at this point.

You still confused?

What if it was someone from the city utility department going check that person's meter?

Based off of what is said, the guy was handing out flyers. He didn't really seem like the type of guy who up to no good. Of course, I am just assuming, but you are as well.

If this guy was simply handing out flyers, that doesn't automatically mean he deserves or that it is okay for someone's pitbulls to go out and attack the man.

If I am passing by your house, but I am in the street and your pitbulls get off of your property and come after me and I have a gun and shoot them. Would you be okay with that?

Here’s a story :

I bring one of my pitbulls to work a lot. She lays out by the door/truck.
One day she sees the neighbor’s pit, sitting on the porch and runs to play with it.
Pit on the porch grabs mine by the neck until I was able to loosen his grip.

Guess who’s fault that was? MINE!!!!!!

The dog was on his porch. Was he aggressive, sure, but mine isn’t , but she also had no reason on his porch

Sure as hell sounds like it. If someone's dogs attack a person not trespassing, the dogs will be put down and the owner arrested. And rightfully so.

You prove he wasn’t tresspassing yet? Or still assuming there wasn’t signs or consent or anything? You know about as much as me.
You just don’t like my opinion.

Think about why you made the thread. I know why.
If I look up his info and he has a record of ever being arrested for bugarly or violence, would you care if he was attacked by a dog?
It’s all an agenda you have.

It’s quite comical watching you people melt over a certain breed.
12 different breeds killed people last year. Yet, this board obsesses over only one. That’s the best part. You’re not fooling anyone. Keep up the good work.

You really think your opinion of me makes me worry about you?

I saved a 5 month old who wasn’t breathing last night. He’s doing great today. Recovering at Children’s Hospital.

You’re making a huge difference on the internet everyday. Keep up the good fight.

Stay classy you average citizen.

You're the one asserting he's trespassing. You're not just "asking for information."

Did the property have a no trespassing sign? If not, was he told to leave the property and failed to do so? If not, then simply going put a flyer on someone's door is not criminal trespassing.

This is the Texas penal code.

LINK

quote:

(a) A person commits an offense if the person enters or remains on or in property of another, including residential land, agricultural land, a recreational vehicle park, a building, or an aircraft or other vehicle, without effective consent and the person:

(1) had notice that the entry was forbidden; or

(2) received notice to depart but failed to do so.

The link provides more detail, but since you are in Louisiana you might want to be aware of this before you unleash your pitbulls on people.

This is listing an instance that is not criminal trespassing.

quote:

(3) Any person making a delivery, soliciting, selling any product or service, conducting a survey or poll, a real estate licensee or other person who has a legitimate reason for making a delivery, conducting business or communicating with the owner, lessee, custodian or a resident of the immovable property, and who, immediately upon entry, seeks to make the delivery, to conduct business or to conduct the communication.
