Fine, make it a 175 grain bullet instead of the 130 grain.

Marcel Williams and Stacey Eugene Johnson, have asked a federal judge to halt their executions because they say they are too obese for the drugs to effectively work on them.

I'm betting they porked up on purpose over the past few years because they knew their chances would be pretty good with a federal judge. Several inmates scheduled for execution have just been granted a reprieve...

To be fair, these two are among 8 individuals the state of Arkansas is trying to execute due to the drugs' approaching expiration dates.

The death penalty is disgusting enough. The fact that the state is trying to install an express lane due to their own lack of preparation is sickening.

Very typical.. They got what they wanted, and were always asking for more.. After years, still asking.

Yep, we should've installed a couple of those fast lanes long ago.

Drug efficacy can be calculated for body weight. Family Practice specialists do it all the time when they are calculating dosage for children.

I'd rather die sooner than as an old elderly man scooting around the geriatric Ward of the prison hospital.

I will never however be in either situation

Yes, it always amazes me that some seem to forget or not comprehend that it's an actual choice.

Well, just stop feeding them now and starve them to death. It may take a few more days to kill them, but it will cost nothing - a real win-win solution. That pain is supposedly so bad that they would be fighting over who gets injected first...hell, they'd probably even beg to get strapped up in old sparky just to end their suffering.

No shite Sherlock

They didn't gain weight as a response to getting out of being killed, they are using being fat as a way to not by killed. You think the drugs administered that take a life can't be altered according to weight? It ridiculous that being fat on death row is even a discussion as to why their lives should be saved. They had their chance and our justice system decided for them

HUH???? Ummm ... yeah, that's pretty much what I said.

I facetiously said it wouldn't surprise me if they decided to gain a ton of weight over the past few years in an attempt to some how get out of the execution considering who the federal judges are these days - many being Obama appointees who will hang their hats on any excuse to stop an execution. The link is an article about the federal judge's ruling on Saturday (an Obama appointee) which halted the 8 executions that were to begin yesterday, but didn't because of the "medication issue" not the bullshite weight issue. Obviously, medication is adjusted according to an individual's weight, but considering the many liberal federal judges these days appointed by Obama, I was making the point that it wouldn't surprise me if one of them decided in the 2 fatasses' favor, regardless.
