They probably just don't want to be sent back to Afghanistan. I know I wouldn't.

We are training them here so that we can build a rapport with them before going with them back to Afghanistan to perform missions.

We trained several Iraqi pilots (one of which crashed in the small town in which I was working) in AZ who are now fighting ISIS. Pop Mech had a good article on it last month.
