I love those model of trucks. Does any of the OT Ballers have one? If so, post some pictures. I just bought a 1982 SWB 4WD in great shape.

Those early to mid 1980s Chevy trucks and the Blazers/Suburbans based off of them are my favorite full sized rigs.

I had a dark green 1980 model with a step side bed and a "three on the tree" when I was in high school. I distinctly remember my friends being impressed that the headlight brighter switch was foot-operated on the floor to the left of the clutch. I regret getting rid of that truck. If it had an air conditioning or power steering, I might have kept it.

No but am currently looking around at 80-84 models to restore for my boy who turns 16 in a couple of years. Everybody else must want them as well because I have seen 2008 F150 4WD's on the same lot cheaper than some of these older square body's .

Still have my 1978 GMC Sierra SWB 4x4 with auto, Ac, 305 V8.

Still got last paint job my grandfather put on it in 1982 before he died.

Paint and truck still run good today.

Use it on the farm and it's still a horse.

My first truck was an 85. Had it all fixed up with a pearl white and gold paint job...

Then some pill head pulled out in front of me and I totalled it. Loved that truck.

I have a 50's ford, but those 80's chevy's are looking real nice. Small block ford engines are about x3 the cost of big block chevy and all to get less horsepower.

Have a 1985 SWB that looks just like it did the day I bought it. Got the baddest 305 on the planet in it.
