Nah. Your numbers look reasonable to me. Just noting that Colorado Springs makes sense considering the large military population (summer is transfer season).
Gotcha. Still not out of line compared to most similar sized cities.

Good idea, it will probably add a few years to your life.

How does that compare to a normal 7 day period?

18% in 7 days in a city that size is insanely high. What else could it be?

Minnesota will probably stay blue in November because all the conservatives/moderates/independents will be gone by then.

Like I told you in the other thread, I don't have a time machine. Do you? The guy who tweeted this number certainly didn't provide a comparison to last year. The only frame of reference we have is vs. other cities, and the 14.5% in Minneapolis is not out of line for cities its size. Many cities actually have higher ratios.

And if you want to compare to last year, you would also have to compare other cities to their figures from last year, as well, because the economy is quite different this year.

It's not like you couldn't find those stats
And comparing to other cities makes no sense

If Minny has an average increase of like 7% in summer months and this summer its 14.5% then that's not a nothingburger

Austin or Nashville will be welcoming them soon.

I looked and couldn't find it. Zillow doesn't make that data readily available. Did you look?

It makes more sense than comparing a city to itself in a much different economic climate.

Then find the data. I'm not the one spouting off numbers that don't mean anything, that would be the OP here stout and the twit who tweeted this number with no context. I am simply putting the number in the only context that is available.

Make a point or shut the frick up.

18.6%

Sounds like the US black population figure, surprisingly so.

A simple anecdote, I'm sure.

The percentage referenced by OP is the ratio of the number of listing in the past 7 days vs ALL current listings. The number of new listings in a month doesn't tell us that.

Yeah, that's where the guy got his data from. What's funny?

I mean, I can't see people just panic selling this quickly, especially in such a blue area that supports all this nonsense.

Really? You can't see that? Looters were allowed to burn down city blocks unattested and the city council voted to essentially eliminate the police force and replace it with God knows what.

But you don't see it? Really?

Because you act like people only list on Zillow

There was a large spike of new listings from May 29th to June 5th

No, I act like Zillow is where the percentage comes from.

Pretty typical of that week every year around the country.

I'd be out. frick that noise.

Though I'd never live in a liberal place anyways. Gainesville is close but enough country folks to keep stuff level to an extent in the county

There was a huge decline in new listings in May

After the riots it spiked up almost by 700+ new listings in a week

I'm sure the riots were not the cause of that

No I'm not a time traveler

I will correct myself that the massive dip was in showings not listings

There was a dip in lisitngs before the riots then spiked by 700+ from 29th to June 5th then seems to have flattened out
