I’m not surprised you don’t get the point. It’s not about being on a political side. You’re right. Before LBJ and the “war in poverty” the black family was strong and vibrant. In fact there were lower instances of single parent homes in the black community than the white community. That changed in the 1960s with the “war on poverty”. The government destroyed the black family and we are living with their actions now. The sad part of it though is the government cannot fix the problem. Only the black community can. That’s going to take leadership and self responsibility.
