You fricked. I hate hair follicle test. They either go back 90 days or a freaking year. I never done any drugs but I think that's unfair.

i took a hair test a few months ago and can answer your questions.

First off, my head is shaved down to a #1 and I'm not a hairy guy.

They need a cotton ball size sample for the lab, regardless of where the hair is from.

Instead of shaving bald spots in my head, the dude asked me if I wanted to submit hair from either my legs, arms, or arm pits. (they cannot take pubic hair)

I shave my chest and my arms are pretty thin, so I opted for the leg hair because obviously I didn't want the dude to shave my pits. They shaved both of my legs from ankle to knee with a conventional razor and it was still barely enough of a sample to submit.

In most cases when they take long head hairs, it goes back 90 days because they take an inch and a half of hair. Each half inch is 30 days, hence the 90. Body hair grows much slower so leg and or arm hair could hold THC for up to twice the duration. That's pretty much it. I also got a cheek swab and piss test.

It's such bullshite and illegal in some states. There are guys on job sites snorting God knows what and drinking all night and they're good to go, but a dude that took a drag of weed 6 months ago can't get into the plant. get the frick out with that

Hey TulaneFan. You're not fricked at all. I work for an O&G contractor and my co-workers smoke on occasion and have done so for years. Hell, even my office manager does as well. None of them have lost their jobs bc they use a follicle cleaning kit that metabolizes the weed metabolite, thc-cooh. It's a system that uses a pretreatment to scrub out minerals followed by the actual cleaning regimen and is 100% effective. You do have to tell them when the last time you smoked was, if you were a heavy user, and when any possible hair test will be. This determines the amount of 15 min treatment applications you need to take to clean your hair. This shite will save your career as long as you can piss clean cuz you will have to get passed that as well. I believe it's ard 10 ng for urine and 1 for hair. The product is called Hair Razor.

how often have you smoked in the last few months?

if you smoked regularly( a few times a week at least) up until a few weeks ago, you're screwed. If you only smoked a few times over the last few months, might me worth trying.
