Leary would probably be a saint by day's end if we miss out imo

Not if other teams are already pushing hard to close deals on them.

Always risky going after the top guy at a position because you likely lose out on at least the second and third guys if you miss.

Absolutely. Make the money while you can.

NFL Careers are short. A difference of that amount of money is generational.

Anyway, I really am surprised we are going to spend that amount of money on a Guard, even if it is one of the biggest needs.

It's actually fairly reasonable

He could end up being worth it, but last year was his only good year(although he did show some potential early in his career). I could understand a 1 or 2 year deal, but 4 years is kind of stretching it imo. I wouldn't be surprised if he earned his money & I wouldn't be surprised if he was a dead money nightmare. High risk/high reward imo.

Britt, Coleman, Pryor.

might not look that good on paper but they've definitely upgraded.

its tough though cause the Browns still have a lot of $$$$$$$.

at least we are a front runner though.

this could be huge!

A team like that kind of has to take a risk though

Rather spread the money out a bit.

Hopefully they're keeping in touch with the top 6 OG's. It would be very unfortunate if they botched this.

Hue Jackson coached Zeitler when he was OC in Cincy. Not sure if there is a relationship there but something to keep in the back of our minds.

Browns are extending G Jon Bitonio. May be a sign.

That means we are likely getting Zeitler.

It is a great move for us if we do get him. The interior of our line becomes a massive strength with Peat/Unger/Zeitler.

Personally, I would still draft at least one OL by round 5ish. Either a Guard so Peat can eventually shift to RT or a RT and keep Peat at LG/LT.
