The younger crowd is in a tailspin. No need to pull the paper bags out just yet. Relax, all will be good soon.

yeah. i honestly didnt have much to say this season. we suck. plain and simple. we have hope and show glimpses of pulling it together next year.
this year, we just flat out suck.
the only thing I really wanted to talk about was trading Sproles. I think we are a much more balanced offense when we dont have his trick plays. and it allows ingram/pierre/ivory more touches to run like an actual RB. those weeks sproles was out were some of our best running games. also, cadet can fill whatever role we had for sproles. hes also younger and cheaper.
but ive been called insane.

I'm 51. I can still remember Tom Dempsey's epic kick against the Lions. So I've lived through just about ALL the bad times.
It's all great now, despite this season from hell.
And fricking with the sunshine pumping crowd on here has never been more fun

I've been around for a long long time. This defense is a joke. Don't see how it can be improved, because simply not one of them could start on any other team, the oline is getting whipped, Brees is pressing, recievers not getting separation on a consistent basis.
This team is bad man. Right now we are in the bottom of the league.
This team has been a over achieving team, and now with out Coach Payton no one is accountable. If Payton doent come back and these so called scouts don't find any defense players in the draft you can bring the bag outs soon

It has gotten better every week, and it is full of young talent.

that's just not true.

agree

yup

after week 4 and pre-injury bug it was doing fine.

Agree. And alot of it has to do with playcalling.

i dont really know what this means. IN a span of 6 years, we won a superbowl, went to the NFC championship game and made the playoffs the rest and our HC and OC and GM and LB coach are all out for half a season or more and everyone is ready to kill themselves and the team ina murder/suicide deal. Relax. This season is an unprecedented arse frick of a season.

I dont know what that means. PCM, Vitt, Brees, all get alot of criticism and all have accountability.

We won a superbowl 3 years ago, and where a play or 2 away from another NFC champ game last season. If you bring the bags back out you should be kicked in the fricking nuts

I stand by my statement that accountability is a issue on this team. The people you stated or not accountable to Payton. Especially Brees

I only do this at work because I'm going back to the states in a couple of months and I've turned over most of my duties to my replacement, hence lots of free time to frick with losers like you.
Damn dude, when I was your age I was out having a good time, not spending all my time on a fricking message board
So...it's you who is the lonely loser!

Me: 24, youth, girlfriend, happy, life ahead of me, in school, future looks bright, in america, having a great time
You: 51, old, lonely, sad, pathetic, lives in Japan, life behind you full of regret, spending your time drunk and alone in some japanese apartment

Mid 20's, I was around for the Ditka/Ricky Williams/Billy Joe (insert name here) fiasco. The mediocre 2001 to 2005 seasons. Remember when Kerry Collins was our starting quarterback? Dude was a drunk, then leaves here and takes New York to a Superbowl.
I'm far from going into the tailspin. I'm more amazed that Drew is playing so poorly than angry. Gives me a reality check that we are all human.

I'm 30. I've been going to Saints games since 1989. Its been a tough year, I can't believe how much of a Saints homer I was at the beginning of the season. I felt like we would go 10-6 and be a wildcard team. Felt like the defense would be better this year under Spags. They got off to a terrible start and are just now starting to get better. We need more speed off the edge on defense though. We have actually have gotten more pressure from the line in the last few weeks from the inside. Ellis has played better latley but it seems like he will be gone next year. Hicks looks like he'll be a rock in the middle of the defense for years to come. He just needs more playing time, so does Bunkley.
I guess Spags is just trying to rotate guys in there the best he can though. I guess some of our players just don't fit his scheme all that well...I don't know. Jordan has played better than any other D-lineman. Will Smith is getting slower but still makes a few plays here and there.
I hate to say anything bad about Drew Brees but he's pressing too much. He's had a rough go of it lately but he will bounce back, I believe that.

They are more likely to ban me. I'm logging out now before it happens.
