I think he could be there in the 5th... It's a deep WR class. But McBrides stock has been rising a bit since the combine. But the earliest he would be selected is mid-late 4th IMO.

Think he's better than that and could be a damn good NFL WR, but it's another deep WR class so who knows what will happen.

I would have agreed with you a month ago KG, but his stock has done nothing but go up; he's a mid-late 3rd round pick IMO. If we want him we gotta take him at 75 or 78, which when you think about it isn't that bad. Sure it's in the 3rd round but it could be our 5th player taken in the draft.

Played against him senior year of high school when he was a sophomore. He torched us, scored 3 times at running back, had a pick 6 at safety and took a punt back if I remember correctly

DGB just looks like a guy who will take his bonus and be a bust! There's better out there without the risk. Loomis and Peyton have always found gems in the later rounds from small schools.

I knew his stock has improved post combine, but didn't know it jumped up that much. But yes just read a few things and sounds like he's a day 2 pick now. Good for him. When you watch his tape, he's def worth a 3rd round pick. I thought that a month ago or so. But sounds like he's no longer a "late round steal" or an unknown player now.

And yea I'd be happy with him as the 75 or 78 pick for us. I really really like Justin Hardy as well. Not sure if that many people are familiar with him, but the kids a player. And I'd love Perriman at 44. He's a freak and only will get better.

Yea I don't want DGB either. Great talent, but I also agree with NFL Analysts Bucky Brooks... DGB is going to need time to develop before he becomes an impact player. He's extremely raw with his route running, struggles to get off the line and into his routes vs press coverage, not that good at finding soft spots in D and getting open, doesn't create that much separation, slow when adjusting routes, and is easy to read for a DB.

Physically, he has all the tools in the world. But he's extremely raw and has relied on his size and athletic abilty instead of the fundamentals and technique. The only way to improve at that is working at it, and his work ethic is very suspect. In the NFL, that equals an inconsistent player. Plus, he hasn't played a snap since 2013. And that's just on the field issues. And I can handle a college kid that makes a mistake and learns from it. But DGB constantly was an issue. 2 incidents with weed and then a burglary where he pushed a woman down stairs. I can handle the weed and petty issues, but after being in trouble 2 times with weed, you think he would have learned his lesson. But no, he was involved in a burglary and pushed a woman down stairs.

Love his size and athleticism, hate his fundamentals and technique and his off the field issues. Too many negatives for me and not a fit in our locker room.

If Strong is available at 31 we should SPRINT to the podium.

He is a freak stud. Thickest WR you'll ever see.

I agree, dude looks like a linebacker, runs a 4.4 40 and has 42" vertical! His name is very fitting

Highlights!!

I feel the same way about DGB. With cleaning house of lockeroom distractions & lazy content players, it seems highly unlikely the Saints will take a chance on him.

With that said, I really hope the light comes on for him. His childhood was shite & he literally came into the world as a crack baby. His adoptive mom hasn't been much of help in his transition from becoming a boy into a man. She has coddled him too much. He needs to man up, get his lips off her tit & take responsibility for his own actions otherwise he will end up being a complete waste of talent. If he does come around please let it happen out of the NFC South. We already have enough big, young talented receivers in the division as is. For those who don't know his entire story, here it is.

He also has that fearlessness to go over the middle or down seam like we have become accustomed to see from Colston all these years.

Seriously though, he's built like a bigger version of Josh Reed.

I'm late to this thread but I would like to add Ty Montgomery's name to the discussion. His low production last season was due to an injury, so I think that with his bout of the dropsies is hurting his draft stock. His 4.55 40 was looked at as a disappointment as well, which isn't that terrible.

This kid is very well put together though, and is almost built like a RB. Also a very good returner on both PR and KR.

Definitely a good mid round target.

I'm all for taking a chance on Green-Beckham. Definitely a head case but has intangibles through the roof

Before we got the extra 1st and 3rd, I would have said no. But with these extra picks, he's very well worth the risk. He would easily be the most talented WR Brees has ever played with.

I wish I could find the article that I read recently, but it seemed like he really changed his attitude once he got to Oklahoma. Maybe that was because he knew he was on his last chance, but it is encouraging for any team looking to draft him.
