They need to have Gleason on to tell his story, for real this time. They only way they survive this is to get him on the show.
Yeah, they'll probably have him on, donate a measly $5k to his foundation and blah blah blah BS.
Their asses should be fired.

The show is owned by Lincoln Financial Media. Lincoln Financial Media is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Lincoln National Life Insurance Company, based in Atlanta.
Got this from Joe Casale's tweet.

I doubt it'd ever happen but it would be a good way to spin this story in to a positive. Just hope it brings more attention to ALS/Steve's story.
Not Steve Gleason related, but another Steve with ALS that I went to school with. Really cool 5 minute youtube.
Hope For Steve

Nick Celini apologizes on Twitter:

Nick Cellini ?@NickCellini 8m My apologies to everyone. It was a stupid attempt at humor that backfired. Emphasis on stupid.

I have a better idea for the show. Instead of Steve going on the show, they should have Michel and Rivers come on by. Now that would be 9999999 billion times more interesting.

So Lincoln Financial is based in Atlanta.
Lincoln Financial sponsors the stadium in Philly
Matt Ryan is from Philly..
Conspiracy?

I know this transcends football and rivalries and all that shite but I really hope the saints remember this week 1 and never let off the gas. I want to see them throwing 40 yard bombs up 30 pts in the 4th quarter. #liveandlearn

Yeah, I heard it too. They even mentioned how they got a bunch of texts and tweets mentioning how much of a POS they were for doing it.
One of them was "
Knock knock
who's there?
smother
smother who?
smother me, do me a favor
Pretty classless
Edit: That was part of the radio hosts' jokes, not a text or tweet. After I re-read my post I realized how that could be confusing

From atlantafalcons.com message board

I dont listen to 790 anymore... signal is just too weak outside of perimeter. But the morning show is anchored by a guy from Boston who went to school at Tulane and pumps up New Orleans culture more than anyone else in the city of Atlanta. The other guys are transplants from New Jersey and Cleveland, so maybe all the fans over at SR need to "lighten up, Francis" on the Atlanta Falcon "fanbase".
Gleason may be some sort of hero culture and source of inspiration in New Orleans, but that show constantly does routine with former HOF players who are dead and alive, and its tasteless usually, but its part of their schtick.
Best strategy... turn the dial... I did. Its America guys, freedom of the press is kinda fundamental.

Nope. It was pretty bad. I listen to them and 680 sometimes on the way in to work in the morning. I was stunned by what I was hearing. A joke is one thing but damn....that was pretty foul
