I don't think the Saintard's hearts would be able to take it...

They didn't take him with the 24 or 28 pick, so they think his knee is shite. But, personally, yes I would.

This^ and Bruce Carter and this would be a golden draft. Second only to 2006

Starting to think I would. Can't think of two players that realistically would be available that I would like better than the potential of Bowers

No, those two #3's is probably the reason the Saints felt good about pulling the trigger for Ingram. Those #3's equal depth. I am not sold on Bowers, and apparently the other GM's around the league feel the same way...

Sunk cost. Would you spend the 24th, 72nd, and 88th pick on what looks like the best LDE in the draft and take a risk on what could be the 3rd or 4th overall defender in the draft? I say yes.

How can you possibly say this? I'm not flaming, but I see a lot of people echoing these sentiments.

Every single NFL team (except the Raiders who never owned a first round pick) passed on this Top 5 talent...presumable because his knee is fricked. All of these teams that were able to examine him and came away with the same conclusion. Think about it. Not one team said, "We think it may be an issue, but we'll take a late first round flyer on this top talent." They all passed on a great talent. This tells me noone has any real confidence his knee will withstand the pounding of an NFL career.

He may defy the odds and be a productive player when it's all said and done. But the odds seem to be really low at this point.
