Tebow wins while playing on a bad team.
More like: The bad team that Tebow happened to be playing on won. His two complete passes are hardly what I would call a "contribution".
Drew Brees sneezes 65 yards. Even mentioning Tebow in the same sentence as Brees is heresy.
"But he finds a way to win". bullshite. The TEAM found a way to win...all he did was not frick it up by getting in the way. His 8 attempts should be evidence enough of the coaching staff's confidence in his ability to play quarterback, but I suppose some people have their tongue too far up Tebow's arse and don't want to hear that.

you fricking moron, Tebow is the case study for why "wins as a starter" is a horrible way to evaluate QBs.

The Saints offense isn't set up for a super successful RB. They have a very effective passing game and need an efficient running game to balance it. Give the kid some time. Not everyone breaks into the league and makes the pro bowl in their first year. You have to remember that the lockout didn't help him or anyone else at all.

They are both very good backs. I'll probably will take Richardson because he's really more dynamic than Ingram... With that said Ingram is a really good back. Give the guy some time... He's sharing a backfield with 3 other backs.

This
It isn't "fair" to evaluate a RB on the Saints current offense with the traditional yards-TDs stats because they not used in the traditional way. The only real way to do it is with the 'ol eyeball test. IMO, Ingram has shown great potential, but PT is still our best all around back (and the best screen back in the league), with Sproles being the "Reggie Bush" that Reggie Bush wishes he was.

Go re-watch Tebow against Detroit and you will realize why this is 100% false. At best he will be a backup, gimmick QB with a small base offensive package.

Wasn't one of his completions worth 6 points?

Let's revisit this again after tonight's game against a little better competition.
Tebow seems like a great role model, but I wouldn't want to see him passing the ball for the Saints.
I think Richardson is going to be a great back, but I am also high on Ingram. I would take Richardson over Ingram, but that is really not realistic. I think Ingram will be a good asset to our team. It may not show this year, but let's give him a year or two before we claim he is a bust.

Tebow is a great leader and role model, but he's just not going to make it as a true pro QB. Or an offense will be molded around him and allow him to do his own thing instead of being a tradition NFL qb.
