I would gladly take Drew Brees over Loomis.

So you’re wanting a guy who paid Kirk cousins 150 mill and tampered to get him and lost draft picks doing so then turned around and drafted his replacement? I have some unfortunate falcons fans and they hate that dude. So what is option C?

I think a better discussion would be "Would you let Jeff Ireland be the permanent GM and let Loomis go, or do you want a completely new front office?"

Yes. I’d take the vast majority of NFL GMs over loomis at this point.

yeah because the Packers drafting Rodgers while Favre was playing great worked so terribly for them

The packers weren’t drafting 8th and didn’t just invest 150 mill in a qb. It was so awful the owner was baffled along with everyone else in the building.

All I am saying is, let's see how this all plays out

That $150MM is not guaranteed money

Favre was 4 years into a 10-year, $101,500,000 contract with the Green Bay in 2005..

Adjust those numbers to today

I’m not as enamored with Ireland as many here, he’s not horrible but a lot of his misses are why the D and OL are in shambles

Drafting is an inexact science for sure but we’ve invested heavily along our lines and don’t have much of anything to show for it.
