Would a timeout have allowed a helmet-helmet flag?

The crowd boos and points to the screen and the refs huddle and throw the flag? Happens on intentional grounding.

The offense and defense goes to the lockerroom until the call is made.

The crowd really would have made it rain.

CSP would have gotten suspended and fired.

It would have been glorious to watch those cheating fricks squirm.

They knew exactly what they were doing.

I would have pulled the team off the field. Correct it or we don't finish. The players, coaches and fans were furious so who gives a shyt what the League does after the fact. Force their hand!

What ever happened to playing a game under protest?

they cant go back and call an uncalled penalty by review

the only chance is a referee conference on the spot before the ball is put in place for the next play.

a time out "may" have allowed time for that but it would be more unlikely then someone not calling that penalty

Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't they do that with intentional grounding?

My nephew went on a rant about the non call.

He said if he were CSP, he would have gone to the middle of the field, made a spectacle by throwing the challenge flag, sat his arse down and refused to put the team back on the field until the refs at least discussed it.

He thinks CSP didn't do enough and should have at least gotten ejected from the game.

Yea let’s take multiple personal foul penalties to get out of field goal range. Miss the kick and lose in regular time. No thanks. Not much nfl coaches can do to argue calls IMO.

Needless to say I’m finally over the call. Saints had a chance to stop them after the field goal and couldn't. Had a chance in OT and blew it (yes I agree it should have been a PF call and PI call) but still had the opportunity. It should have been over after that call, but it’s not. Life moves on.

How would refusal to put the team back on the field be a personal foul?

I saw someone else say that the team should never have gone back on the field after the no call in regulation time.
