4 yard per carry is terrible...I agree.
this season:
Bell 4.4 (despite getting most short yardage carries)
Thomas 5.9
Bush 3.9 (sadly, this is a career high)

Ok, well you still called me an idiot and misspelled "you're" in one fell swoop.
Idiot

Bush is a terrible punt returner.
Terrible?
he isnt the best, but he is far from terrible
2nd active in the NFL in return TD's
While i think he should run more vertical and not as much sideways, i wouldn't consider him "terrible". Poor choice of words.
....and today wasn't his best game. I thought he lacked effort early in the game. A few of those passes Brees threw to him that got broken up, i thought u could have came back to the ball and made the catch. Or at least showed a better effort.
the play on the reverse and the rare broken tackle on 3rd down were pretty big plays. I wouldn't say we wouldnt have won without him though. And i dont hate Reggie Bush. Thats just an unbiased way at looking at it. He was a very small factor today

bush actually averaged more per touch than thomas today, fwiw
You are full of shite.
RB: rushing 3 for 10, receiving 3 for 16, PR 5 for 23 which equals 4.45 per touch.
PT: Rushing 8 for 30, receiving 1 for 14 for 4.89.

he's terrible. look at the stats i linked on a previous page. He's not even top 40 in the NFL in punt return average.

Some of you figs/bandwaggon fans exert more effort looking for something to piss and moan about than you do being a fan.

its a good thing minnesota decided to suck at punt return coverage in that one game last year. bush has certainly built a reputation off of it.

Here's my post in the other Reggie Bush thread. Maybe this will clear things up.

Did Reggie fumble today or something? That is a serious question.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's a serious answer for you. No, Reggie didn't fumble. He played almost everydown from scrimmage in the first half. He did get blown up in pass blocking that led to a sack. Between the lack of a running threat when he's in the game, and his deficiency in pass blocking , his presence allowed the Miami pass rush to pin their ears back and render our offense helpless. We adjusted in the 2nd half by using real HBs and sprinkling Reggie in in certain situations as we should have done from the 1st qtr on, and things went much better that way.
Does this answer any questions that you may have?

the punt returns kinda sum up reg
he's going to be below mediocre for the majority of his touches, then do do something great
the great plays are far apart and there is a lot of suck surrounding them
