It's possible. Not enough info to say either way.

Smith DE
Vilma MLB
Porter CB
Greer CB

are all locked on defense and are solid or outstanding.

Brees
Colston
Henderson
Meachem
PT
Evans

aren't gong anywhere on offense. We will probably secure some of this line up and evaluate the future at LT.

We need to draft an OLB and some DL this draft.

If Williams keep the defense goingin the right direction we should be able to make the playoffs every season outside of ridiculous injuries.

With Brees playing at the level he is for the next few years (he makes everyone around him better) and a decent defense I think we can be a threat for a few more years. We'll have to plug up holes on defense considering how prevalent injuries and free agency can be. With some good drafting I think we could be around for a while. I think this all revolves around Brees tho, I just want to appreciate the years while he is here and I hope we don't waste them because I will be heartbroken when he retires.

One thing people are leaving out is PLAYERS want to go to a team with great coaches and players, we've got that in N.O. If your a player in his prime and having to chose between the Saints and Seahawks with no real difference in $, where are you going?

Recent super bowls have included:
Seattle, Chicago, Oakland, Carolina, St. Louis and Tampa Bay. Not only have none of these teams made it back but they have stunk up the league since their SB appearance. I like your positive attitude but SB appearances don't come along all that often.

I actually think Bushrod will develop nicely and the Saints do too. He got dominated by Ware but did a solid job against Allen. You have to remember he was a small college player in his 3rd year in the league, with this being his first year starting. Most young players struggle in their first year at LT. He had a pretty good year. From some of the comments that have been made I think the Saints really like him there. Question is what about Jamaal Brown next year? Funny no one has really mentioned his name all year.
