LOL. If Hicks actually PLAYED at LSU like he was supost to he would have been a 1st round pick to everyone here. JJ should be next QB off board right? Then Jarrett Lee right after that?

HOLY HELL RYAN BAKER still on board we have to move up for him he is a beast on special teams!

I've noticed you are talking about other players that haven't been mentioned in this thread and haven't been able to say shite bad about brooks besides 3/4 on depth chart behind all american top 10 draft picks.

Guys like kelvin sheppard in the past have gone on to prove worthy in the NFL. it's pretty easy to spot ranter vs common sense.

wait for the draft and see how high Brooks, Green, and Bentely go then say they are overrated. Every team around looks at the talented kids from their areas first but that doesnt mean it changes the value. I was hoping for Brooks in the 5th but he has skyrocketed up draft boards the last few weeks so 89 doesnt really seem a reach anymore. IMO

4th CB on his College team! 3rd is too high. 4th is the highest he should go.

regardless of how you rate him the odds of him being available are miniscule due to the dearth of safeties. He'll go a lot higher than he might in another year.

I like Ron Brooks and think he is a good player. I think I understand the draft better then most and player values. Brooks is valued in the 4th round at highest.

Taylor will be drafted ahead of Brooks... Taylor is next tiger off board after Randle...

Although possible, he's definitely 3rd round caliber. And it wouldn't be a reach. He's better than Johnny Patrick that was taken 88th.

this draft is deeper then last years. Patrick wouldn't be drafted until the 120 range. I think Brooks is in the 115 to 130 range.

As long as you start with those 2 words, I will not argue with it.

oops, yeah, my bad. Taylor gone.

I have a high probabilty of Brooks being available.

I have two problems-

I cannot imagine him being the BPA at #89

I think he'll be available but it's likely there could be 2-3 other higher rated CBs on the board... Fleming, Norman, Boykin, etc

4th Rd I'd scoop up Brooks though

yeah and no. LSUs offense sucked last year vertically. I'm convinced Brees can make any TE with good measurables have value.

Bwa? You'd see me shoot myself. Odds are he's still better than Sarah Jessica Parker Wilson though.

I'm going to be pissed if Dallas ends up with Mo AND Taylor. Doubtful without a 2nd rounder, but he could slip.
