Sam's not even the best D lineman on his own Team. Try Jarvis Jones from GA.

I'd like Jarvis Jones. Of course he'd be a victim of the Shanle mojo voodoo and get deported or something.

Mingo.

Make him play TE, WR, and LB.

then with our next pick definitely Mettenberger.

Im sick of the shell. He's hurt me way too many times.

That's who I think he is talking about but I see Mingo excelling as a rush LB in a 3-4 somewhere.

putting him at DE in a 4-3 at the NFL level doesn't seem like a great fit

Will Jarvis Jones be more of a 4-3 DE or 3-4 OLB in the NFL?

In all reality, I do believe Mingo would have some LB talent. In the NFL though, never really know till they play..But, it's something i'd like to see.

No way we pick that high, but I would love for an impact defensive player like Montgomery to be available when we do.

That has to be the priority here. I hate to say it, but you might need another corner in the 2nd as well. Then probably o-line. I'd look to WR in FA or something

Actually, Levar Edwards has outplayed Sonic Sam this year (so far). Mingo also more versatile as has been pointed out.

I thought 34 OLB but he is talented enough that if he played as a successful 4-3 DE it wouldnt shock me

i think this defense could use a hybrid tweener...if he could successfully play both positions him and wilson would make some scary ends while playing together..they could get after you or pick you off.

You guys know we have no 2nd round pick this year right?? Looking like its gonna be huge loss if we end up picking in the top 10. This bountygate bullshite will never end.

Unfortunately I think we already have that in Jordan and Wilson.
