In general, Rufus is killing it.
Which surprises me, as well.
But Smith only has 3 more snaps than Rufus and 7 more than Richardson, while Atkins has by far the most with 112.
Edit: but you're right, Haralson has played only 51 snaps (25 fewer than Smith) so far.
But still, who else will we get at this point?

Well shite he must have gotten a bunch of snaps last game. I didn't get to pay close attention to the second half so I didn't notice him much.

All the people who think Roman can replace Smith should watch the play where Smith got hurt. He bullrushed the OT to the QB, Harper gets knocked on his arse trying to do that.

Let me clarify. I dont think Harper can play OLB. I do think he can stuff the run and blitz the corner.

Having Harper pay even more attention to the backfield would be really bad for the secondary.

A couple pages back you had Harper, Jenkins, and Vaccaro on the field at the same time with Harper filling Smith's role as run defender and pass rusher. You're saying you want him at OLB without saying it.

Bottom line is Harper got his big payday because he was able to find a way to get to the QB. With the addition of Vaccaro, there are different looks that Ryan can give to the opposition. Not saying transform him magically to an OLB, but his bread and butter is hitting the QB.

By blitzing from the safety position which is nothing at all like playing OLB.
