Could it be possible Sean and Mickey don’t really view WR as a need like most fans do? We haven’t heard them talk about receivers at all and Sean didn’t mention it as a priority when he was interviewed at the combine. Maybe they really feel Smith and Kirkwood will be better next year or they have more confidence in Meredith than we think.

If Meredith could approach his form of a few years ago it’d be a massive boost.

Thomas
Ginn
Meredith
Smith
Dez
Kirkwood

I mean sure this could improve, but if healthy this isn’t bad, and could find someone in the draft

Our WR2 caught 28 passes last season and 10 came in one game

Kamara and Thomas account for nearly 50% of the targets. We need weapons to keep em honest - those weapons are not keith frickin kirkwood, Achilles Dez, and at this point Cam Meredith

Parris Campbell would be a great addition as a guy who can move all over the formation and is a threat every time he touches it

Seems like we’re throwing this handful of darts and hoping one sticks. On the bright side, at least none of them are named Coleman.

I was a little surprised we cut ties with Lewis. Kamara is gonna be a busy man.

I wouldn’t mind signing Nelson on a 2 yr deal as long as we didn’t overspend.

His usage in college on all those screen and drag routes make him seem groomed for our offense. Could also be a kick return guy.

Might have something to do with the fact that the first two guys on that list were plagued by injuries last season. We aren't living in the days where you need a guy like John Taylor or Alvin Harper as your #2 Wideout.

Doesn’t make sense. If our other guys were plagued by injuries then theoretically someone should’ve picked up some slack if “drew can make WR out of anyone” particularly if we had limited options.
