Does the entire country have to stomach a game between 2 atrocious losers to satisfy 2 huge population centers? A primetime contest to see who will be #1 pick. This is SAD.

Dallas has been everywhere this year.

It's so annoying.

Games switching days would be very inconvenient.

I guess but if you do it far out enough it’s easily done. If a venue can’t do it due to a prior scheduled event then don’t flex it. The NFL over complicates it’s TV rules.

There is nothing you can do about it....

1) Schedules are made from last year...predicting decent games.

2) Logistics---ESPN has the MNF games they have to know ahead of time where to book their crews, move their production and get them there.

3) Fans---A lot of fans actually take off work and some travel to other cities for games. Travel is based on when the game is played...New Orleans had a huge contingency in Cincinnati yesterday. Most probably flew out on Saturday and flew back today. Flights have been booked for months.

They could absolutely schedule the first 5 weeks before the year, then schedule the rest 4 weeks out

Yea it’s weird that they’d formalize a process for splitting up games between 5 different billion dollar tv rights contracts

I agree for fans this would be great....however they have to be careful for travel and short weeks and work around pro players getting flexed into a Monday before playing on Thursday or early Sunday.

Days rest between games are huge for teams and players because they play such a high level every play.

i actually don’t want the saints to play on holidays, they deserve to be with their families and the NFL needs to stop making us want to be selfish and skip out on our own
