Why does WWL now say “founding father of the Saints nation”?

Because "who dat" began way before the Saints used it during the Bum Phillups era in the 80s. St.Aug used it and Patterson HS used it WAY before the Saints did.
Bobby may have re-popularized the phrBobby. The radio after his real career was over, but he didn't "found" any nation. The Saints are what we are with or without bobby.

He definitely didn't repopularize the phrase "who dat". During the postgame after the Cowboys game in 06 people were calling from all over because so many people were displaced after Katrina. He said something about how we've got fans all over and it's a "who dat nation". Technically he probably did popularize that specific 3 word phrase.

Who cares about what WWL says then and now?
