Drew is NOT 6 foot.

Yea, he’s more like 5ft12….

yeah, I also met him. I'm exactly 6 foot, he definitely is not but that just makes all he did more impressive, IMO

Right. Brees worked on going over and extended the ball rather than pushing the pile.

Only at the goal line.

That quick reach can’t and was never used for 1st downs.

I see this get incorrectly referenced so much on here.

Overtime in 2009 NFC Championship Game on a 4th and 1 near the 50. Drew did the leap and we almost got screwed cause he pulled the ball back to protect it.

This is a pretty big problem in young’s game. I’ve often wondered if the difference in between Brady and Manning is really just a matter of short yardage efficiency.

In his career, Brady rushed for 1,123 yards, 28 TDs and 238 first downs.

Manning meanwhile rushed for 667 yards, 18 TDs, and 85 first downs.

That’s a massive discrepancy, and Brady moving the chains lock clock work on third and less than 1 may well have been the reason brady usually won a game or two more than manning each year.

Pierre Thomas jumped in the pile on 4th and 1 but he kinda fumbled in mid-air and that's how we almost got screwed.

I have never thought it was the power of the QB that made a sneak work. Finding a small crease? Yes. Maybe your oline sucks donkey balls.

He would be on his tippie toes with his head cocked back just to see down field. He might be the quarterback who got the most out of his God given talent in league history.

Thought the same thing. Figured him being smaller may help as the LBers could lose him in the traffic as he searches for the crease.

They could also always go with the Hurts sneak and just have the RBs give him the scrum push.

Yup. One of the more insane replays ive seen. Everything about that game is so close to being disastrous.

I know, it was just a joke. I too have met him and I’m 5-10, we were really close height wise. He is like 5 10.5…

I saw Brees in shorts and t shirt at Saints facility.

He’s in great shape and a little more stout than I expected.

New info... Bryce Young apparently picked up an ankle injury at some point Monday night and will miss Panthers practice today

Red Rifle to be QB1 for Carolina this week?
