Fine but Arizona's defense and special teams are arguably better than San Francisco's, they have identical records, AND they're playing an AFC team and nobody gave me shite about picking them for the exact same reasons...

We didn't commit unforced, game-changing blunders against the Cardinals that accounted for a swing of 21 total points and almost cost us the game?

wait...wut?

The same Cardinal D we put up 31 points on?

I don't want the 9ers to even sniff the playoffs. If you don't think they come into a playoff game in New Orleans, with something to prove, you'd be sadly mistaken. Dangerous team

I try to stay away from 'who do we want to face' threads or 'who do you think we face" etc.
I mean we pray for the seemingly easier opponent and they get hot on a roll and sh!t hits the fan/fans. Get the best record you can then beat all in your way in the playoffs. You still have to beat the best to be the best. The one thing we all agree on is trying to get as many home playoff games as possible.

Yep I'm not here to argue or fight. We all want a #1 seed, and failing that a #2 seed and first round bye with favorable matchups in Divisional.

Let's enjoy the rest of the season and hopefully (at the very least) a third NFC Championship appearance with a crack a "minor upset" in Seattle in late January.

because the cardinals don't hurt when they hit

Willis & Brooks give you pause, make you a little nervous, maybe even afraid...Dansby,dockett, and PP7 are not intimidating or physical. That doesn't mean they aren't good players. They just are just soft

If you asked Drew Brees which defense he'd rather see again...shite any saints offensive player, wich one do you honestly think they pick.

Whatever else we do... do NOT start a game thread during any game we really want to go one way or the other. I think we've more than proved that our threads are the kiss of death for any team we need to win.

frick that, give me cowboys > Giants.

last thing we need is giants sneaking in and winning it all for a third time.

You want all the other top NFC teams to lose. Plain and simple. You don't need to look any further than that.

Am I the only one that doesn't give 2 shits about the Panthers?

They aren't that good. Their defense is pretty decent, but Brady and crew put up almost 400 yards last night and did so on only 7 possessions. The only reason Carolina won the game are the 2 turnovers and the no-call at the end (albeit, both are part of the game). Similar to our game Sunday except we were able to pull it out and New England wasn't afforded that opportunity. Carolina and San Fran are basically the same 2 teams, and I'd play either one of them in the playoffs.

Any time you don't protect the ball, it's hard to win in this league. If the Saints can do that, I don't see Carolina posing a major threat on our championship run. We sweep them.

Only 3 NFC and 3 AFC teams have fewer giveaways than the Saints. We just remember ours more.

For the Saints:

No.

They're fools gold...they get dirty and in your head forcing you to make uncharacteristic mistakes...they really try and draw penalties...Olsen drawing a defensive holding call was horseshite

They're no match for the Saints

Let's make it simple: Saints control their own destiny. Time to step up and beat people.
