Completely agree. 3rd and goal from the 13. What does a 3 yard pass surrounded by defenders accomplish? At least take a shot.

Brees knows his arm isn't what it once was & he just isn't going to risk tight window throws downfield especially in the redzone.

Have you considered that it was a check down because TB dropped in coverage and down field wasn't open
