Best coach in Saints history while also being tremendously overrated

He had a chance to build something great after the Super Bowl but poor roster management and neglecting the defense ensured this team was always in the running but fell short each time.

This times 100.

And the most disappointing thing about him.

He focused on chasing pussy and Vicodin after the SuperBowl win.

It was like the entire organization (and even a lot of the fan base) were satisfied with the one SuperBowl win.

just listen to all the excuses coming from this board about his great winning percentage.

I like what Dennis Allen is doing.

If sean wanted to quit, then let him walk. My problem was his 90 minute bullshite press conference where he was being remorseful for “retiring” when his lying arse had cooked up a secret plan to coach Miami. He wasn’t retiring from shite. He was lying his fricking arse off to a devoted fan base that had his back for 16 years. Meanwhile, he was saying , “it’s not you, it’s me, when he had a naked supermodel waiting for him down the street.

I hope he never wins shite again in this league. Maybe he will get popped for doing drugs again and Goodell can excommunicate his arse from pro football !!!

I actually am .

Im guessing anyone who isnt is under 40 yrs old, and doesnt remember the absolutely horrific early Saints teams where i would cry on the way home from games as a kid and pray to Jesus Christ, Santa Claus and the Easter bunny for one, just ONE Saints Super Bowl …. None of them came thru for me, but Sean Payton and Drew Brees did.. after all the years of untold suffering, that one night in 2010 will keep me warm for the rest of my days, even if i live to be 110 yrs old… Dont get me wrong, it’s nice when we win - but it isnt life and death like it used to be…. Sorry, not sorry .

Oh yeah, InB4 “Thanks for proving my point!!!”

Hey BK.

I agree with you and I do get it.

I suffered along with you. I remember being a Saints fan before the first game against the Rams in Tulane stadium.

That’s why I post “Go Saints Go”

There was no Who Dat then.

And it really isn’t life or death for me anymore either.

If the Saints didn’t exist, I wouldn’t even pay attention to the NFL.
