For Derek to have any type of success, he would practically have to have a damn near perfect team around him. That just ain't gona happen by 2026. He'll be 35 and has already been oft injured well before then. I just dont see the point in this combo.
Nothing more valuable than a possibly good/above average QB on his rookie contract. You have about 3 or 4 years to assemble a team ready to go before he hits that stupid overpaid contract.
