…any surprise cuts?

Roby could happen. Wouldn’t be a surprise.

I don't see many big surprises right away. Past few years Loomis would do just enough to get under the cap at the start of FA. Then as they work on deals, w/ FA players, they would continue to work deals w/ other players to create the necessary cap space. Then repeat again after the draft when they need to sign the rookie class.

They are around $25M over the cap, between Roby cut, Latt & Hill restructures; they should be able to clear that pretty quickly. Then, they'll keep working the deals w/ players through restructures/extensions to get any FAs they target

So we gave up a mid 3rd for a one year rental that a rookie started over? Terrible use of assets if he is cut. He is a starting caliber corner, we should at least get a conditional 4th for him.

Malcolm jenkins would be the only one i could see.

I think it would have to be a post june 1st cut.

It would save 7.8 mil but leave behind 3.7 and 3.7 in 2022/2023.

No one was expecting that to happen with Adebo. But yes, I was thinking he could be a trade candidate. 10M ain’t crazy for a team with cap space looking for a starting CB.

Jenkins was the other one I was thinking as a possibility. But would leave us empty at safety if we lose Williams (looking likely).

Bovada had Mathieu coming to Nola at -120.

I thought the team just restructured Jenkins contract by about 3.5 mil. when they restructured Peat.
