I am not enamored at all with the pass rushers in this draft. With it being very deep at DT I like the idea of going dual DT's like Carolina did a few years ago in Short and Star.

I really like Vernon Butler with someone like Rankins.

The only issue with that is we are switching full time to a 3-4 under Allen, would be counter-productive doing that.

Are you sure about that? Everything that I have read is that the Saints are going to go back to the 4-3.

That's actually what I want unlessen we get Fairly. I just think that some bad arse DTs would help Cam more than a pass rusher on the other end of the line would

Two D-lineman would be fine.

I want Sheldon Rankins in the first round, but having Tyeler Davison and John Jenkins as solid DT's and possibility of signing Fairley, I'm not sure we have to get one in 2nd rnd as well when possibly waiting later in draft. But don't get me wrong though, I wouldn't be mad either if they did, but figure a DE/OLB or best player available would be fine with me as well since so many needs on this team

We need a defensive END. Have you checked out the depth chart lately?

The Saints have been playing a 4-3 for like two seasons

Everyone is speculating we are going back to a 3-4 because of the Laurenitis signing. He is a MLB, but we already have one in Anthony. So unless we're changing a 30 year old's position (not likely), either Anthony has to move outside (also not likely), or we will have 2 MLBs- aka a 3-4.

Makes sense-we have nobody on the DL except Jordan, and we have 3 or 4 pretty good LBs. Switch to a 3-4, draft a DE and a DT and we're in pretty good shape.

I'd be ok with that. Get a true DT with the 12th pick and maybe a big DE that could play both DE or DT. I know we need a corner as well, but with a good push up the middle and a better pass rush, that could hide some of the deficiencies on the back end.

I've been saying that for awhile now. If DTs are the BPAs, then I think we should go back-to-back. And with the draft being so deep on the D-line, there is a really good shot that the BPA in the 2nd round will end up being a DT.

If we got Rankins and Billings, I'd be ok with it. I'd rather Lawson and Billings though.

I wouldn't mind Bullard in the 2nd rd. Put him at DE in the base D then slide him to 3-tech on 3rd and longs.

Tyeler Davison will bust out next season watch and see. He is familiar with or experienced now I should say with having gone through a season of war in the NFL. Dude has talent you can see and should surprise next season.
