Hyde is just a stop gap for Fournette. Where does Hyde fit in the Fournette/Yeldon rotation?

Fournette cant stay on the field. You need to keep a guy like Hyde around especially with more or less no QB playing for you. He's probably a bit better than yeldon.

Ive just never seen a guy traded and than traded right after. It just doesnt happen.

I'd give our 2nd this year and our 2nd next year. No question.

Trade Coleman, 2019 3rd and 2020 2nd. Coleman’s deal off the books would help with cap space for Peterson. Coleman would not be a major loss, though obviously that means Arizona likely doesn’t value him highly.

This would be interesting. Not id want to trade him but Davenport needs more playing time.

PP should get similar compensation that Peters got. I just dont see anyone giving up a first for peterson.

Marcus peters on a rookie deal and younger is more valuable.

Patrick Peterson has 2.5 years left on a higher priced veteran deal.

If Ingram is so important, why haven’t we extended him yet? I would rather lose him in pursuit of Petersen, instead of getting nothing for him!

Yea, and Peters still didnt get much. I was pretty surprised how little KC got for him. Wasnt it like a 2nd and 4th? Lol

Why extend him when we dont have to yet.

You are out of your mind if you think he fetches a 1st. But go ahead and keep dismissing ingrams value to the team. There is just no helping some of you.

Even if you cant see ingrams value....who else do we have to spell Kamara? Its not a smart move to break up the duo.

Peterson can be had in other ways. You dont break up the ground game that controls the clock and help keeps our terrible defense off the field.

Here was my proposed deal a few weeks ago. I still think it makes sense.

Trey Hendrickson
AJ Klein
2019 4th
2019 6th
2020 2nd

For

Patrick Peterson
Haasan Reddick

Cardinals get a young defensive end with some B+ level pass rush ability upside, a LB who is smart and can come help lead the defense, and draft capital while clearing space, giving PP an opporunity to win on the back half of his career, and moving a LB who has upside but didnt really fit their defense.

I would think the Cards would inquire about Davenport. Not that I think the Saints would move him but if the Cards were to ask for a player I could see it being him.

They can't possibly think we would trade a rookie first round DE for a 28-year-old CB.

All good but Ingram isn't gonna get a 1st

Why would you extend him before the trade deadline? Especially when we don’t have much cap space and clearly have a need for a cb. Fill your needs first then figure out extensions.
