Same thing happened last year in LSU vs Alabama game and BAMA retained possession.

What? They explained the fumble and recovery just fine.

I was with people and couldn't quite hear. It clearly was a fumble but touched by a player who was OOB. But I thought they said the Saints lost the challenge. The challenge was that it was a fumble, which was true.

What was the call on the review as to a fumble? Did they say we lost the challenge?

The interesting one is touching a kick off on the ground while standing out of bounds = kick out of bounds.

They went to the expert Ref and all he did was repeat what the refs did. Was it a damn catch?

Wasn't just that call. Those refs had no clue what they were doing the whole game (no surprise).

The ruled that he was down by contact. It should have been ruled a fumble and not a challenge loss.
