We’re not built to win with a rookie QB

So why take one of the oldest in the draft? We can’t face facts and realize we’re in a rebuild and it’s better to just blow it up and start over. Loomis is a baby back bitch.

I mean, he’s not Chris Weinke old

We went full Falcons and drafted a poor man's Michael Penix.

He’ll be ready next year or two, on a cheap contract? He can’t be our Purdy?

Purdy was a 7th rounder. Apples to grapefruit there

I see this playing out similar to Brandon Weedens career

28 I thought
We should be drafting 21-22 year olds. He's a lot closer to Weinke than who we should be drafting
He also was not good in college. We should be drafting guys who were good in college

No idea. QB drafting is a complete roll of the dice.

Kinda how I feel. By the time things are in a better spot for him he’ll be pushing 30 if he even sticks.

Exactly. It makes no sense

You and SFP don't know shite.

They are drafting like they care about next years QB class.

He was 29.
I don’t care though. After Josh Allen hit, I don’t pretend to have QB draft takes anymore.

Maybe. Maybe not. What I do know is that our defense is piss poor and aging and there were plenty of great options still on the board. We could’ve had Shough in the third round, I’m not against the pick I’m against where we took him.

We aren’t winning this year. It doesn’t matter the order you acquire talent.
What does matter is whether the guys you draft are good and whether you can get into a good cap position as that talent matures.
The former is unlikely given our track record. The latter is even more unlikely because I don’t think Mickey thinks he can afford short term losses for long term gains.

He would be the first good NFL QB who was drafted incredibly old who sucked in college, I reckon
